To visit Kafni Glacier Trek, first you have to reach Bageshwar. Road facility is available from here onwards till Khati village.Here we are sharing with you information about the means of transport to reach Bageshwar.
- By Air – If you are traveling by air then Pantnagar Airport is the nearest airport, it is the only airport for the entire Kumaon region. For further journeys from here, you can avail taxi facility, which can take you to Khati village or Bageshwar. The distance from Pantnagar Airport to Bageshwar is Around 200 kilometers, this distance can be covered in 7 hours.
- By Train – If you are traveling by train, Kathgodam Railway Station is the last railway station for this journey. From here you can avail taxi facilities for further journey. The distance from Kathgodam to Bageshwar is approximately 155 kilometers, this distance can be covered in about 6 hours.
